A Fundraising and Community Event at Mt. Hood Oregon Resort
Sandy, OR – AntFarm Youth Services, a nonprofit organization based in Sandy, invites everyone in East Clackamas County and beyond to gather for an inspiring evening of connection, storytelling, and support at its upcoming spring fundraiser, Strengthening Our Roots, held on Saturday May 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Mt. Hood Oregon Resort’s Cascade Ballroom in Welches.
This year’s theme — Strengthening our Roots. Honoring Our Foundation. Cultivating Our Future. — reflects a meaningful transition and recommitment to AntFarm’s mission and values. The event holds added significance, as it also marks a leadership transition for the organization. After 15 years of dedicated service, AntFarm’s Founder and Executive Director, 2 Foxes Singing (Nunpa), will be stepping down from his role in late June. His vision, heart, and commitment helped shape AntFarm into the mission-driven, community-rooted organization it is today. While this chapter closes, his continued involvement in a consulting role ensures a strong bridge to the future. The evening will offer space to honor his legacy while celebrating the shared commitment of AntFarm’s staff, board, partners and community to carry the work forward.
As the organization looks back on the leadership and care that built its foundation, it also looks ahead to a future of renewed youth engagement, deepened community partnerships, and sustainable support. “This isn’t just a fundraiser,” said Devin Kelly, AntFarm’s Community Relations Manager. “It’s a moment to reground, reconnect, and reinvest — in the people, values, and vision that carry us forward.”
Guests can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere that mirrors AntFarm’s grassroots culture. The event will feature interactive program stations that highlight our work and services, storytelling from youth and families, and a charcuterie spread prepared by AntFarm Café & Bakery staff. A relaxed setting, natural décor, and live music will set the tone for a grounded and celebratory experience.
The formal program runs from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m., featuring stories from youth, parents, staff, and community members across AntFarm’s diverse programs — from youth services and housing to environmental stewardship and cultural arts. The evening will also include raffle drawings, a giving campaign, and opportunities to learn more as well as get involved with AntFarm’s work.
Multiple ways to support are available, including sponsorships, donations, and affordable attendance to ensure accessibility for all community members and AntFarm supporters. Attendees are encouraged to sign up for Sustaining the Seasons , AntFarm’s monthly giving program to receive extra perks. Sustaining the Seasons is AntFarm’s monthly donor program that empowers youth through meaningful engagement while inviting the community to invest monthly in a stronger, more compassionate future. Consistent monthly donations, no matter the amount, provide steady, reliable support that allows them to plan ahead, respond to urgent needs, and sustain impactful programs throughout the year. All proceeds will support AntFarm’s mission to empower and uplift youth, families, and communities throughout rural Clackamas County.
