For five decades, MHCC Head Start has been more than just an early learning program—it has been a bridge to better futures, offering families educational opportunities, career pathways, and critical support services. MHCC Head Start is one of the largest Head Start agencies in Oregon, serving nearly 1,000 families annually who are at or below the poverty level. With more than 250 employees — many of whom are former parents of the program — it is the largest department at MHCC. This milestone event highlights MHCC Head Start’s longstanding commitment to supporting the most economically disadvantaged families in the region.
