| Quilt Show and Craft Sale posted on 08/31/2023
A group of area quilters, known as “Piecemakers,” have met weekly for many years at Hoodland Lutheran Church. A group known as “Neighborhood Missions” has existed for many years, sponsored by Hoodland Lutheran. The group will join forces for a Quilt Show and Craft Sale on Saturday, September 30th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church, 59151 E. Highway 26.
Quilts made by Piecemakers will be displayed but not for sale. Hand-crafted items, many of them made by the quilters, will be available for purchase. Proceeds from sales will benefit Neighborhood Missions.
Neighborhood Missions, a partner agency of the Oregon Food Bank, serves the mountain community by offering assistance with food, housing costs, gas, and prescription drugs. A Free Food Market is offered on the last Monday of each month in the parking lot of Hoodland Lutheran.
The Quilt Show and Craft Sale is a natural pairing of these two groups in support of one another with the community they serve. All are invited to this free event. |
